Elite Dance Company in Chelmsford, MA is hiring for a reliable and knowledgeable dance educator who is energetic, passionate and kind to join our awesome faculty!  Well-rounded in all genres is preferred but looking for immediate hire for ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop.  Classes are for various ages and levels. Strong ballet background/knowledge is preferred….we all know it is the foundation for all our dancing!

 

Must-have skills:

Strong ballet background/training

The ability to design a syllabus, in collaboration with the director, to cater to the needs of the level of each class under your instruction

Keen eye for correct placement and alignment

Choreography skills

Use of dance terminology while teaching

The ability to collaborate with a team and accept feedback

 

EDC is a home to both recreational and competition dancers.  All ages and levels are welcome here and we strive to challenge all dancers within their appropriate abilities while also building their self-confidence and keeping their hearts in dance!  All classes offered focus on strong technique and progressive training.

Availability for Monday and Thursday hours at this time with the additional option to sub in for classes.  Compensation is negotiable based on experience and education.
